EcoFlow EF DELTA Power Station Error Codes & Fixes

The EcoFlow EF Delta is a compact and capable energy power unit you can use just about anywhere and anytime you need electricity. However, problems can arise while operating these machines that require fixes, which is what we present below.

Error – USB-A Overload Protection

Cause:

The USB-A and overload icons flash together.

Solution:

Remove the attached electrical appliances and wait for 10 seconds. The unit should then resume normal operation automatically.

Error – USB-C High-Temperature Protection

Cause:

The USB-C and high-temperature icons flash together due to a connected device.

Solution:

Remove the connected electrical device and the unit will resume normal operation after cooling down.

Error – Product Overload

Cause:

The overload icon flashes due to an attached electrical appliance.

Solution:

Remove the connected appliance and restart the machine. Normal operation will resume.

Error – High-Temperature Recharge-protection

Cause:

The recharging time, battery and high temperature icons flash at the same time, usually due to heavy battery use.

Solution:

Allow the battery to cool down and recharging can be resumed.

Error – High-Temperature Discharge Protection

Cause:

The battery and high temperature icons flash at the same time.

Solution:

Once the battery cools down, the power supply can be resumed.

Error – Low-Temperature Recharging Protection

Cause:

The recharge time, battery exclamation and temperature icons flash together.

Solution:

Allow the battery to warm up and recharging will resume.

Error – Low-Temperature Discharge-protection

Cause:

Battery exclamation and temperature icons flash together.

Solution:

Move the device to a warmer environment and the power supply can be resumed.

Error – Overload Recharging-protection

Cause:

Recharging time, battery exclamation and overload icons flash at the same time.

Solution:

Resolve the problem by pulling out the plug,  restarting the device, and replugging. If not solved, please contact our product specialists via support@ecoflow.com.

Error – Overload Discharging-protection

Cause:

Exclamation and overload icons flash at the same time.

Solution:

Detach the electrical appliances and restart the machine. Only connect appliances that are within the recommended power rating.

Error – Communication Failure between Main Board and BMS

Cause:

The exclamation icon is always on.

Solution:

First, restart the device. If this does not work, contact the EcoFlow product support.

Error – Battery Cells Failure

Cause:

The exclamation icon is always on.

Solution:

First, try to restart the machine. If this does not work, contact EcoFlow product support.

Error – Communication Failure between Main Board and AC

Cause:

The AC icon flashes.

Solution:

First, try to restart the unit. If the AC icon does not disappear, then contact the EcoFlow product specialists.

Error – Inverter Output Overload

Cause:

The AC and overload icons flash together.

Solution:

Press the On/Off button on the unit and wait 10 seconds. Restart the machine and resume normal operation. Do not use electrical appliances that exceed the rated power.

Error – Inverter High-Temperature Protection

Cause:

The AC and high-temperature icons flash at the same time.

Solution:

Allow the unit and inverter to cool down and it will resume normal operation automatically.

Error – Inverter Low-Temperature Protection

Cause:

The AC and temperature icons flash together.

Solution:

Warm up the unit moderately and recharging can be resumed.

Error – Fan Blockage

Cause:

The AC and fan icons flash at the same time.

Solution:

Check the fan for any blockages dues to foreign materials. If the fan is blocked, turn off the machine and clear it. Then restart the unit to check if it works properly. If this fails, contact the EcoFlow product specialists.

Error – Car Charger Overload

Cause:

The car and overload icons flash together.

Solution:

Restart the device and it will resume normal operation. Only connect electrical devices that meet the recommended power rating.

Error – Car Charger Over Temperature

Cause:

The car and temperature icons flash together due to recharging at high temperatures.

Solution:

Allow the unit to cool down and normal operation will resume automatically.

Error – Communication Failure between Main Board and MPPT

Cause:

The car icon flashes.

Solution:

First, restart the machine to see if this solves the issue. If this does not work, contact the EcoFlow product support specialists.
