Bluetti AC50S 500Wh Power Station Error Codes & Fixes

Bluetti AC50S power stations can really come in handy when you need emergency backup power. However, they are not without their issues. When you run into an error code, it will help to have the answers you need to get it back up and running. This is where this post can help.

Here are the most common error codes associated with the Bluetti AC50S 500Wh power station:

Error E01

Cause:

The heat sink’s over-temperature protection kicks in when temp reaches ≥ 75℃.

E01 Solution:

Turn off the machine, or idle it until the temp reaches ≤ 70℃. Auto recovery should then start.

Error E02

Cause:

The machine begins its low-temperature protection when it reaches < -8℃.

E02 Solution:

The machine will self-recover while operating when temp reaches >-2℃, or it must be turned off and warmed up.

Error E04

Cause:

The power station battery temperature rises to > 68℃.

E04 Solution:

The machine will self-recover when temp reaches < 58℃.

Error E05

Cause:

The machine’s battery temperature drops to < -8℃.

E05 Solution:

The machine’s temp must rise to > -2 ℃, and self-recovery will begin.

Error E06

Cause:

The battery temperature rises to > 48℃ while charging.

E06 Solution:

Stop charging the machine, let it cool down to < 38℃, and self-recovery will kick in.

Error E07

Cause:

The battery temperature drops to < 0℃.

E07 Solution:

The battery temperature needs to reach > 5℃ for self-recovery to start.

Error E09

Cause:

The machine’s total voltage drops too low, to < 9.6V.

E09 Solution:

Rise the machine’s temperature to > 10.5℃, charging will recover.

Error E18

Cause:

The PV input hits over voltage at > 45V.

E18 Solution:

Lower the voltage to < 40V and self-recovery will begin.

Error E25

Cause:

The battery reaches over-voltage due to the DC 12V output being > 13V.

E25 Solution:

Press the button to recover.

Error E26

Cause:

The sink temp load power goes to >140W due to DC12V-1 output overload.

E26 Solution:

Press the button to recover.

Error E27

Cause:

The DC12V-1 output provides too much current, at > 11A. Or, there is a short circuit.

E27 Solution:

Press the button to recover.

Error E28

Cause:

The DC12V-1 input has too much current, at > -1A.

E28 Solution:

Press the button to recover.

Error E29

Cause:

The DC12V-2 output has been overloaded. The load power has reached > 75W.

E29 Solution:

Press the button to recover.

Error E30

Cause:

Over-current of the DC12V-2 output at > 6A or there is a short circuit.

E30 Solution:

Press the button to recover.

Error E34

Cause:

The machine’s system has overloaded and the DC output stops when total power is > 420W for 3 mins.

E34 Solution:

Press the button to recover.

Error E36

Cause:

The inverter output has overloaded. Power has reached > 300W for 2 mins or the power reaches > 450W.

E36 Solution:

Press the button to recover.

Error E37

Cause:

Over-current of the inverter output when current reaches > -1A or the AC output short-circuits.

E37 Solution:

Press the button to recover.

Error E38

Cause:

The system has been overloaded due to excess power. The AC output has stopped, and total power reaches > 420W for 3mins.

E38 Solution:

Press the button to recover.
