Jackery Explorer 300 Power Station Error Codes & Fixes

The Jackery Explorer 300 portable power station can give you the energy you need to run your appliances during normal conditions as well as energy emergencies. However, some problems can arise while you are using them. The following issues are the most common:

Error – AC / DC Input Problem

Cause:

The AC charger cable fails to provide the unit with power.

Solution:

Make sure the cable and machine are connected properly and the charger indicator light is on. Check the LCD screen for a charging light to be present. Check the unit by connecting the car charging cable for a charge to occur. This process can also be used to check for a DC input failure.

Error – Solar Charging Issue Using the Jackery Solar Panel

Cause:

The solar panel may not be functioning properly, or the connections are not solid causing the unit to not charge properly.

Solution:

Use a soft cloth to gently remove any dust or debris on the solar panels. Check all the cable connections to make sure they are secure. Use the provided AC charger to check the machine for proper charging capability. If the unit charges using the AC charger, then this shows there is something wrong with the solar panel. Only use the solar panel in direct sunlight and away from shady areas. Unplug and plug in the machine a few times to see if it works.

Error – Solar Charging Issue Using a Different Type of Solar Panel

Cause:

The unit does not charge while using an alternative brand of solar panel. This could be due to bad connections, dirty solar panels, or a faulty unit.

Solution:

Disconnect the unit from the solar panels and use the provided AC charger to check if the machine charges properly. Clean the solar panels using a soft cloth to remove dust and debris. Check all the connections to make sure they are secure. Only use the solar panel in sunny areas during midday hours. Unplug and replug the machine several times to see if it works.

The AC / DC / USB output may not be functioning properly due to a possible battery issue.

Solution:

Press and hold the display power button for 8 seconds to start the battery recharge process. After the battery charges, try the output again to see if it works.

Error – Problem With LCD Screen

If the LCD screen can’t work, or the displayed or output number is wrong, please try to hold the power button of the display for 8s to recharge the battery and try to charge it to see.
